With Robert Lewandowski's transfer to Barcelona confirmed, it has now been revealed what the Polish international will earn at the Catalan club.
On Saturday evening, it was announced that the soon-to-be 34-year-old will be joining the Blaugrana ahead of the 2022/23 campaign after Bayern Munich finally agreed to sell him to the LaLiga giants.
The Poland forward will still need to undergo a medical and officially put pen to paper on a deal with the Spanish club but has reportedly had an agreement with Barca over personal terms for the last four months.
According to football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the striker will earn around €9 million (R155 million) a year in Spain, which equates to around €176 000 (R3 million) a week.
This is said to be a significant decrease in the weekly wage he was being paid in the Bundesliga, where AS report Lewandowski was earning €235 000 (R4 million) every seven days.
The forward leaves Bayern eight years after his arrival from Borussia Dortmund in 2014 with a remarkable record of 344 goals in 375 matches in all competitions.
Lewandowski won 19 trophies during his time at the Bavarians, including eight league titles and the UEFA Champions League.
