Reports claim that Chelsea are not pleased with the way Barcelona are conducting their transfer business, and are now blocking negotiations from proceeding with two of their players who seemed Catalonia-bound.
The Blues and the Blaugrana are once again embroiled in a transfer saga. Earlier in the window, the two European giants went head to head in the battle for Brazilian winger Raphinha's services.
Despite the west London side being first to agree a transfer fee with Leeds United, it was the Catalan giants who were triumphant in the pursuit of the 25-year-old. Now a similar situation appears to be unfolding with Sevilla defender Jules Kounde.
Chelsea reportedly agreed terms with the Spanish side for the Frenchman a few weeks ago, but reports emanating from the Iberian Peninsula have suggested Kounde would prefer to join Xavi Hernandez and his contingent in Barcelona instead.
The Catalans are understood to be trying to hijack yet another deal from the five-time Premier League champions, a matter which seems to be infuriating the Chelsea top brass, all the while reportedly trying to lure Cesar Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso away from Stamford Bridge too.
The Spanish duo are keen on making the switch to the LaLiga club, but according to Sport, the Blues have now vetoed the move because of Barca's interference in their pursuit of Kounde.
It may be too little too late for Chelsea, though, with reports suggesting that the Blaugrana could be getting ready to announce their acquisition of the France international in the next 48 hours.
