UEFA Champions League winners Real Madrid have officially revealed the first images of their away shirt for the 2022/23 season.

After dropping a hint that a new announcement is on the way, last season's double victors have unveiled their away shirt for the coming campaign, having already revealed their home jersey for next season.

Real have so far released images of the new away shirt on their social media platforms, as modelled by the likes of Eder Militao, Luka Modric and Marco Asensio, who has been linked with an exit from the 14-time European champions.

On their website, the club said: "Real Madrid and adidas have unveiled their away kit for the 2022-23 season. The dominant colour is a new shade of purple, which combines with the jersey's black detailing around the rounded collar and stripes on the shoulders.
"They jersey also boasts a striking pattern, reminiscent of those used on adidas kits throughout the 90s. The team will debut the new strip in the Soccer Champions Tour clash with Juventus, set to be played in Los Angeles on 30 July."
