Spanish giants Barcelona have officially unveiled their first signing of this transfer window in the form of one of the most talented African midfielders in the game.

On Wednesday, two days after announcing the club had reached an agreement to sign Ivory Coast star Franck Kessie, the Catalan giants unveiled the 25-year-old who has joined Xavi Hernandez's side as a free agent.
The midfielder left Serie A champions AC Milan when his contract expired in June, long after he had been in contact with the Blaugrana over a potential move.

Kessie has officially put pen to paper on a four-year deal at Barcelona, with his deal including a release clause of €500 million (R8.4 billion), as confirmed by the club.
Speaking at his unveiling, the former Rossoneri star spoke of his pride at joining such an elite football institution.
"I want to do great things here at Barca," he said, according to Barca Universal.
