FC Barcelona president Joan Laporta has confirmed two new signings, who will be unveiled by the club later this week.
The Catalan giants have been linked with Robert Lewandowski for the last few weeks after the strike confirmed he wanted to leave Bayern Munich.
However, the LaLiga outfit are now set to finally get their transfer dealings underway with the arrival of Ivory Coast international Franck Kessie and former Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen.
Both Kessie and Christensen will arrive on a free transfers after their respective contracts with AC Milan and Chelsea have both expired.
"We will present Kessie on Wednesday and Christensen on Thursday," Laporta said in an interview with Mundo Deportivo.
Laporta also revealed that Leeds United winger Raphinha wants to join the Catalan outfit despite interest from Arsenal and Chelsea.
"We have spoken with Leeds. I don't think it will offend them [to say so] because we have spoken personally [with Raphinha] and we are in communication, but there are also other clubs that want Raphinha and have made their offers," he told Sport.
"We know that the player would like to come to Barcelona."
The Catalan giants also said goodbye to both Adama Traore and Luuk de Jong this weekk after their loan spells ended, with the club deciding against making permanent moves.
