Dembele, 25, has faced an uncertain future in Spain due to his recent contract saga in LaLiga after his previous deal ran out following the 2021/22 campaign.
The French winger has made 150 appearances for Barcelona since his arrival from Borussia Dortmund in 2017, contributing to 36 goals.
Xavi impressed
According to reports, head coach Xavi Hernandez played a key role in convincing the ex-Bundesliga player to commit to a new deal after his blistering form contributed to a strong finish to the previous campaign.
Although he scored just once in LaLiga, Dembele provided 13 assists for his teammates as Barcelona worked their way up the table to claim second spot.
