Adebayor completed a surprise move to Paraguayan side Olimpia last month, reuniting with former Manchester City strike partner Roque Santa Cruz in the process.
The Togo international has since made four appearances across all competitions for the club, although his most recent outing ended prematurely after he was shown a straight red card.

Olimpia overcame Defensa y Justicia in the Copa Libertadores (the South American Champions League) on Thursday, but lost Adebayor midway through the match after he was dismissed for leading with a high boot on one of his opponents.
The 36-year-old subsequently took to Twitter to apologise for the "Jackie Chan challenge", and stressed that it was not his intention to cause any harm.
