On the weekend, Jadon Sancho was one of several Bundesliga players who expressed their solidarity with George Floyd, who was killed by police in the US last week. However, their political messages could now have got them into trouble.

Sancho scored a hat-trick in his side's 6-1 win at Paderborn on Sunday, and used the attention on him to raise awareness for the sad incident surrounding Floyd's death.
The African-American was killed by white police officer Derek Chauvin in Minneapolis on 25 May after he kneed on the victim's neck for eight minutes and 46 seconds.
The controversial death has caused widespread protests in the US, and several Bundesliga sent messages in support of the public outrage against racism.

On Saturday, Schalke's Weston McKennie wore an armband with the words "Justice for George" on his left arm, while Borussia Monchengladbach forward Marcus Thuram took a knee in a manner reminiscent of former NFL star Colin Kaepernick, who has become a symbol of the anti-racism fight in the US.
Sancho, who received a booking for his action, and his teammate Achraf Hakimi both followed on Sunday, showing messages on their shirts reading "Justice for George Floyd" after scoring.

Both McKennie and Thuram were supported by officials from their respective clubs but the German Football Association (DFB) has confirmed it will now look into the matter.
"The DFB's control committee will deal with this matter over the next few days and examine the facts of the case," the chairman of the committee, Anton Nachreiner, told dpa.
German rules prohibit political messages on the apparel of the players and via celebrations, but some messages have gone unpunished in the past.
