Asante Kotoko Coach Abdul Karim Zito has made a surprising claim after his side defeated Kaizer Chiefs in the Toyota Cup on Saturday afternoon.
The Ghanaian giants defeated the Soweto giants via a penalty shoot-out in the second edition of the Toyota Cup at the Moses Mabhida Stadium.

"It comes to winning at the end of the day. I'm satisfied with the win as a coach, but tactically I'm also satisfied because I know Chiefs have been through this process before me," the coach told SABC Sport.
"With the new players, I did not get what I wanted but at least I assigned them certain responsibilities.
"At the end of the day, we might win by one or it's going to be a draw, that was my thinking. We didn't attack too much. Defensively, we were ready for Chiefs but Chiefs are ahead of us in preparation and team cohesion.
"So I have to use my sense of judgement to go according to the players I have."
The Asante tactician also made a surprising comparison about South African football.
"I have to be honest with myself, the way South Africans play, they play like Europeans, " he added.
"They don't chase you but they will let you chase them and I know it because I all had my studies in Europe.
"Chiefs didn't play bad, but maybe the luck is on our side."
