Soccer star Mohamed Salah gets the Uber Egypt deal

Mohamed Salah, the Liverpool soccer star, has been announced as an ambassador for Uber Egypt.
Uber made the announcement via Twitter after brokering the deal with Salah’s representatives at MS Commercial.
The agreement will see the Egypt international used for the company’s advertising campaigns in country as well as promoting merchandise.
“Uber Egypt has transformed the way people move around in Egypt and I am excited about featuring with a brand that is so passionate about football,” said Salah at the press briefing.
Since launching in 2015, Egypt has become Uber's largest market in Africa, operating in Cairo, Alexandria, and Mansoura.
Nour Ahmadein, senior partnership manager at Uber Egypt, “We are very excited to sign a partnership with MS Commercial to feature Mohamed Salah that will bring fans closer to him and help keep the football living legend close to his fans back in his home country,”
Uber has also signed Salah’s national team colleagues Ahmed Fathy and Saad Samir as its ambassadors in the North African country.
Salah born 15 June 1992 is an Egyptian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Liverpool and the Egyptian national team.
He started his career with El Mokawloon then transferred to FC Basel in 2012.
Then he played for Chelsea, Fiorentina (on loan) and for Roma before transferring to Liverpool in 2017.
Salah represented the Egyptian national team since 2011.
He won a bronze medal in Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.
Salah also participated in the 2011 FIFA U-20 World Cup, the 2012 Summer Olympics, 2017 CAF Cup of Nations and he reached the final but lost it.
He then successfully qualified with his national team to the FIFA World Cup 2018.
Salah became the top scorer of FIFA World Cup qualification (CAF).
He also won the Swiss Super League in his first season with Basel and Premier League 2014–15, Football League Cup 2014–15 with Chelsea.
Salah was further awarded the CAF Most Promising African Talent of the Year in 2012.
In 2013, he was awarded the SAFP Golden Player award for being the best player in the Swiss Super League.
In 2017, Salah was named CAF African Footballer of the Year, the BBC African Footballer of the Year, and Premier League Player of the Month for November.
Salah was also selected in the CAF Team of the Year and CAF Africa Cup of Nations Team of the Tournament.
