Over the years, both our psl and nfd clubs prefered foreign special european born coaches to lead their clubs.some of these coaches came here and played their part by winning accolades for these clubs.some just came here to fail because it's in africa and there is nothing special about african football.
They change our football and turned our players into robots.former coaches like the late jeff buttler, the late edi lewis, the late ted dumitro and paul dolezer played a huge role in developing both our football and our players to be more proffessional.
Now this where the point is when it come's to our local coaches.current polokwane city coach bernard molekwa is heading to the right direction.he realy transformed rise and shine into a winning material.this shows from the team perfomances so far.it's not always easy for an unknown local coach to just came in lead such a low budget club like polokwane city to victories special against big psl clubs like orlando pirates, kaizer chiefs and mamelodi sundowns.
For bernard to do so it just show how much growth our football have reached both interms of coaching level and playing personel over the past seasons.our clubs should just have faith on these upcoming coaches who are about to make names for themselves by hiring them.
Maybe if more local coaches can lead our clubs,we can witness goals and few draws because tactical aproach will differ from the one of those european coaches.and playing formations will be more attacking than defending.
