“Obiozor Saga Is Poor Communication At Bucs?” – Reader’s Voice

Orlando Pirates announced via their Twitter page that they signed Nigerian striker Christian Obiozor. The Nigerian forward was also seen celebrating his first goal in Bucs colours on Instagram, after scoring in a pre-season friendly.

But, new reports suggest that the deal failed to materialise and fell through. Now Nigerian side Enyimba FC are expecting the striker to return to the team.

It seems there is no proper communication. Not so long ago, Pirates were in the news regrding Brighton Mhlongo's move to Chippa United, which was finalised without Dr Irvin Khoza's knowledge. There are rumours about another Nigerian-born player who joined Bucs at the beginning of the year, but is expected to leave the team without making a single appearance. This is not the first deal that has fallen through at Bucs.

Bucs needs to reshuffle the management to avoid more of this.

@hosherr first of all, Enyimba gave Pirates a go ahead to talk with the player and take it for assesment/take a look then come back to Enyimba to talk about offer, but Pirates never go back to Enyimba thats why the deal fell through bcz Pirates didn't agree with Enyimba financially. Its not like talks broke down, Pirates never table offer.

@Zax5-Bucs the article said Enyimba gave rats permission to talk to the player....but however the deal fell through because they couldn't agree on finance....The report doesn't clearly state that its the player who didn't agree to terms or 2ndly the club as u seem to suggest.....so who told u that the problem was Enyimba and not the player .....will listen on Wi-Fi?

@hosherr wich kid are you talking about? Obiozor didn't show anyone middle finger but Pirates fail to meet Enyimba's demands or he fail to impress Bucs coach. He wanted to play for Pirates but something didn't go right between the two teams.

Khoza has also announced Manyisa going to Sundowns whilst Sundowns don't wanna comment about that...I don't trust that deal as done yet especially since its coming from clueless management...Last season. mobara almost showed them middle finger as they also claimed they had signed him only for the kid to tell them that his dream move is Sundowns and he would like to play with Dolly

Disagree khoza will never afford double job look he always stay away from the country for Psl job nothing else will help the team without finding good people to work in pirates office and change all his management even Thandi Morape is not good for that spokes person job Modisane was doing good job and he was reporting everything happening to Pirates but now it take fans time, to long to here whats going with the team khoza like to keep this cows because he don't want to pay more money i think he must find people to do that job there maybe Mashaba can do it because he know good players and countries and Mbele,Screamer and Thandi they must leave Pirates in peace
