Has Komphela Found The Lost Puzzle Piece – Reader’s Voice

Kaizer Chiefs seem to have finally overcome the dark cloud, that has seen them losing points and cups in the past two seasons. Could this be the beginning of the end of Chiefs’ drought?

With coach Steve Komphela looking more relieved after his previous three matches, Chiefs fans might have forgiven him, taking to account that Chiefs are playing quality football lately.

On the other hand, it looks like Komphela has finally found the missing puzzle piece in youngsters such as Ngezana, Meyiwa and Malope. This is proven by their positive results.

There’s no doubt that the Naturena outfit can claim a cup double should they maintain their standard. The experience of Khune, Shabba, Katsande and Parker are definitely making a difference to the youngsters.

Do the fans still doubt Steve Komphela and the club?

The only thing that we need to understand as south African football supporters we should give far chance for coach before we share our views on how they use the players they have because the issue with south African football it's the manager's who sign the unwanted players to team

Khompela allow me to say that you have guts. At least more than half of your team are youngsters. You are coaching a big club and instead of using old and tired players, you are nurturing these young guys. The results are slowly coming and I think that you are doing good under the circumstances.

Khompela can only save chiefs only if he can have a second striker like Part and what I like to Steve always he is positive.

Never Khomphela is trying to save his job with the defensive system that take Chiefs players about two minutes to get to the opposition box when winning the ball from the back instead of 15 to 20 seconds mina i am nit fooled by Khomphela's tactics i know him before he became a Chiefs coach has always been an incompetent coach he will never change he even destroyed the U23s. Khomphela's Chiefs stint is like a nasty fat that wont go away cant wait for 30th of june 2018 his last day at Chiefs.

I believe we slowly finding our feet, just a few things they need to work on, like the finishing in the Final Third we get into good positions and then we don't punish, when we try to punish our efforts are off target, the Youngsters have settled quite well and I'm impressed by their work Rate, I'm hopeful with the the way we currently playing we can at least lift one Cup in the final term of Khompela's term of his contract. Players who seem to have impressed me most are Mologoane, Maluleka and the Engine room Ekstein

@tebogo gm mahlaba Sure Tebza I get your point but I'm just scared that whenever he starts tempering with a winning combination, wheels come off and I just hope this will not come back to haunt him. I'm just not in favour of chopping and changing especially when nothing is broken. I really hope we sustain the winning streak with 3 youngsters at the same time. I really am impressed with all of them though I wont like it when supporters can start rolling hands on them.

He was doing OK but now he started risking again by introducing the youngsters at the same time in such an important game. The team was winning with 2-0 or 2-1 margins with the experienced guys intruding one youngster like Ngezana. Please Steve, we know what they can do, but please collect the points first and please the youngsters later, introducing them one by one.
