bring the safa awards back!

The last time there was a ceremony for safa awards, siphiwe tshabalala walke'd away with the safa player of the year award, and thulani serero was a young player of the year.that was back in 2010 when the last safa awards were hosted.with all the drama our football federetion has been through over the years, also there are good stories to be told.

When dany jordan took over the office as the president for his first term,he launched the 2022 vision and things shaped up imidiately specialy with the junior and women national teams.during the same time in 2015,our under-17 national side (amajimbos)qulified for under-17s fifa world cup for the first time.

The national under-20(amajita)qualified for under-20 afcon tournament.three years later, the same boys who went to the under-17 world cup, qualified for the under-20s world cup in south korea.also both our national under-23 and senior womens national team qualified for rio olyimpics games in brazil.

Women's under-17 side under former banyana banyana right-back simphiwe dludlu has qualified for the world cup that'll take place in uruguay from november 13 to december 1 2018.all these are heroes and heroen's deserve to be rewarded and celebrated by the nation.from development perspective, things are looking good as again amajita recently to qualified for the next afcon competition.

Things can be very negetive for bafana bafana at the moment, but our junior side's and women's teams are realy doing well and they deserve credit.safa must bring back the awards ceremony to celebrate these deserving hero's and heroen's.
