African team coaches resign and sacked
The recent exodus of coaches managing African countries is something that has disturbed me. I mean here we have mostly European coaches coming here to coach and failing. Coaches leaving at the first sign of trouble. Now that's what you get if you hire someone who has no attachment to the country. He can't find work in his hometown so now he comes here on the reputation of his country and makes money off of us. Why not take the time to know the country, it's strengths and weaknesses. Nevermind that, why not just invest in local coaches period. Then you'll have loyalty, a long term sustainable solution that would benefit the organisation in the long haul. Development will take place and you'll have people who know the land, the language the culture and thus giving birth to a new era. A chapter filled with educated home based intelligent coaches who care about the well being of the state of the football in that particular area.
