Man Utd Transfer News: Six In, Six Out?

With the end-of-season transfer window fast approaching and Manchester United’s squad in need of a revamping, six stars are been heavily linked with a move to the Red Devils, while here are six players who could very well be on their ways out.

United have battled to stay consistent this season, with both managers Jose Mourinho and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer struggling to keep the players performing at their best.

The impact the latter made upon his arrival exceeded all expectations, though the last two months has seen the Norwegian’s men lost seven times in their last 10 matches.

Several players have been linked with United, following the call of reinforcements from supporters of the club. Napoli centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly is believed to be one of their main targets, as well as Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho.

Casillas on Zidane

The winger, who has more league assists than Lionel Messi this season, is one of the world’s finest talents at the moment and could find the prospect of returning to his country of birth enticing, especially for the club that rivals the team that let him go, Manchester City.

Crystal Palace right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka is also potentially a target, considering Antonio Valencia will be leaving United at the end of the season when his contract expires. Ashley Young has spent most of the campaign in that position, something that has not necessarily pleased supporters.

On the opposite front, goalkeeping stalwart David De Gea’s future at Old Trafford appears uncertain, with his contract negotiations with the board seemingly never-ending. Although he has been in poor form, fans would surely hate to see the Spaniard leave, especially on a sour note.

Spanish publications Marca and AS have linked midfielder Paul Pogba with Real Madrid, where he has a big admirer in Zinedine Zidane. The 26-year-old has constantly been subjected to criticism since he returned to United in 2016, and many be seeking a fresh start elsewhere.
