Every season South Africa gets excited about new young prospects, but who were the youngest players to star in Mzansi’s top division during this season?
Supporters in Mzansi love seeing their clubs field youthful talent now and then, as every new season gives fans a chance to get excited for a player that their team has produced.
According to Transfermarkt, the youngest player to play in the PSL was Kobamelo Kodisang, who featured for Platinum Stars against SuperSport in August at just 16 years, 11 months and 27 days old.
Ajax Cape Town’s Grant Margeman was the second youngest player in Mzansi’s top league this season at 18 years, two months and 20 days old, while the midfielder went on to play a further 13 matches after his debut against Baroka.
