From the emergance as young players, the fans, experienced players and coaches want to see the youngsters prove themselves through hard-work and determination. While most of these players have proven themselves as great talents, their attitudes still seem to disappoint us.
It was recently reported that the 16-year-old Real Madrid player refused to attend regular training sessions with his Castilla side, which is the club’s ‘B’ team. Apparently Ødegaard only trains with his side the day before the game, as he wants to train with the first team more. As a result of this, he has been dropped to the substitute bench by his coach, Zinedine Zidane.
The winger has refused to sign a contract extension with Liverpool, as he is reportedly waiting to see where his side ends up in the league at the end of the campaign. Sterling has also dropped several hints that he might be on the move to a bigger club, but at 20-years-old, Liverpool isn’t exactly the smallest team to represent week in and week out!
The Belgian winger should probably be a regular in Manchester United’s set-up, but perhaps his attitude has resulted in him being in and out of the team. Januzaj has great talent, as said by many players and coaches alike, but perhaps more effort and hard-work from the youngster will see earn him a starting spot.
The Barcelona star is undoubtedly the best young player in the world at the moment, but his attitude on the field can sometimes disappoint his fans and players. He’s often seen rolling around on the pitch, or calling for a foul. Perhaps his rise to stardom has gotten to his head, but then again, the humble players aren’t the most remembered ones.
Can you name any other young players who have big attitudes?
