Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune put up his hand as a free-taker in Amakhosi's 2-1 loss to Golden Arrows this past weekend. Did you see it?
After almost advocating himself to certain free-kick duties on his social media pages in recent weeks, Khune got his chance in the club's most Absa Premiership defeat to Abafana Bes'thende on the weekend.
In the dying minutes of the game, Khune stepped up and attempted to convert a free-kick in what many would deem a promising position just outside the area.
His effort whistled just wide of the target, but it's clear to see that "Itu" has great set-piece ability, never mind the courage to do so as a goalkeeper.
Check it out!
What do you think of Khune's free-kick attempt? Should he be awarded more opportunities to take them?
