It's been reported that Liverpool goalkeeper Adrian could miss the club's second Premier League game of the season after he was injured by a pitch invader during their recent Uefa Super Cup victory celebrations. Did you see what happened?
During Liverpool's post-match celebrations after their 5-4 penalty win over Chelsea in the Super Cup, a fan rushed on to the pitch and joined in on the team's celebration but appeared to slip right before entering the group of players as they celebrated.
The fan thus collided with a number of players, with shot-stopper Adrian – who was signed in this window as back-up to the club's No. 1 Alisson, but was thrust into action when the Brazilian sustained an injury last weekend – coming off the worst with an ankle injury.
With a goalkeeper conundrum now on Liverpool's hands, here's how it all went down.
