Fresh after scoring a brace to secure a UEFA Super Cup trophy, Liverpool’s star forward Sadio Mane showed his class when he had a touching gesture towards a ball boy.
Istanbul seems to be a good omen for The Reds after they collected their second trophy at the venue on Wednesday evening. The first having come in the famous 2004 Steven Gerrard-led comeback.
Undoubtedly, one of the stars of the show, Mane was on fire for the Merseyside club, he scored two crucial second half goals on either side of Olivier Giroud and Jorginho’s strikes.
The 26-year-old was substituted in extra time and he still had time to show his generous side.
A video doing the rounds on social media shows a smiling Mané, calling a ball boy who was passing by the Liverpool bench. The Senegalese star then throws his playing shirt towards the grateful recipient and gives him a hug just to seal the deal.
