Update: Players Likely To Leave Downs

Mamelodi Sundowns have been linked with a number of players in this transfer window, but, over the past week, several big names have been tipped to leave the club. Let's take a look at who they are!

After their stellar campaign, which saw the Brazilians being crowned PSL champions, many were expecting the club to only reinforce their squad. However, that doesn't seem to be the case.

Today, we take a look at who is likely to part ways with the club.

Ramahlwe Mphahelele
The fullback was one of the first names tipped to leave Chloorkop this winter, despite being named as the club's captain a year ago. An agreement over a new deal has been hard to come by between the two parties, and it seems he will see out the last seven days of his contract with Sundowns before moving on. Naturena is likely to be his next destination.

Anthony Laffor
The Liberian's future was cast into doubt after he failed to report for training on time, and it now seems he could be assessing his options for the 2016/17 campaign. Laffor didn't enjoy as much game time as he would have hoped last season (just 18 appearances), so perhaps he was already planning his exit strategy.

Leonardo Castro
It was revealed yesterday that the Colombian is eager to return back to South America due to personal reasons. Sundowns are said to be working on an agreement to keep him in Mzansi, but should he leave, it could spell the end of "Pretoria CBD".

Who do you think will leave Chloorkop?
