UCL: Juventus vs Real Madrid Combined XI

Tonight we see the UEFA Champions League semi-finals get underway and first off we have Juventus up against Carlo Ancelotti's Real Madrid.

As we always do for big games, we thought it would be interesting to see how a Juventus and Real Madrid combined XI would look.

In our combined team, we have selected four Juventus players, who we believe are capable of match-winning performances.

Here is the combined XI:

Goalkeeper: Gianluigi Buffon (Juventus)

Buffon has done better than Iker Casillas in terms of longevity at the top level, and for me deserves his spot here.

Right-Back: Dani Carvajal (Real Madrid)

He is a real pit-bull on the field and has made this position his own.

Centre-Back: Sergio Ramos (Real Madrid)

He is one of the best defenders in the world and rightfully deserves a place in this team.

Centre-Back: Leonardo Bonucci (Juventus)

This might be a surprise selection for some, but Bonucci has been fantastic for Juventus throughout the competition.

Left-Back: Marcelo (Real Madrid)

He is a world-class player who has won it all with Real Madrid, Marcelo certainly deserves his place in this team.

Centre-Midfield: Paul Pogba (Juventus)

Pogba has arguably been the Old Lady’s best player this season and would walk into the Real side.

Centre-Midfield: Toni Kroos (Real Madrid)

Toni Kroos has had a great first season at Real Madrid and done brilliantly in having to change his natural playing style.

Attacking Midfielder: James Rodriguez (Real Madrid)

He has been superb since signing in the summer and has helped score vital goals for Real Madrid.

Left Wing: Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid)

The Portuguese suffered a slow start to 2015 but has recently got back to his best.

Right Wing: Gareth Bale (Real Madrid)

He has had a rough season at Real Madrid, but he has managed to keep his performance levels high and is better than any other Juventus winger.

Forward: Carlos Tevez (Juventus)

Karim Benzema may have been in good form this season, but Carlos Tevez has been excellent for Juventus and leads this impressive attack.

What do you think of our combined XI?
