With Hlompho Kekana scoring an early Goal of the Season contender against Cape Town City earlier this week, teammate Tiyani Mabunda has since revealed what he thought about the spectacular effort. Check it out!
Fans at the Lucas Masterpieces Moripe Stadium were in awe when the Downs star left City goalkeeper Peter Leeuwenburgh rooted to the spot as his long-range effort whistled into the back of the net on Tuesday night.
Flabbergasted by the goal, Hlompho's fellow midfield general Mabunda took to Instagram to reveal what he thought of the Kekana special.
"I have seen this man @gonzalez_888 score many goals from long range, but this one aowa, there was just too much power. I saw the camera also being too slow for it. No goalkeeper could have saved that. I thank God I'm not the only one that couldn't believe what I had just witnessed," Mabunda wrote on the social media app.
"All I could do was try and use my hands to keep my head together. @kmakgalwa, we see you there also. @leftyshivambu, thank you for capturing the moment."
