We have faced an upward spiral of form recently, following a season filled with more negatives than positives. Reflecting on our recent performances, I feel next season will be a much, much better one for Orlando Pirates.
Here are three reasons why I feel we will bounce back next season.
Code ‘4595’ In Fine Form
Lehlohonolo Majoro and Kermit Erasmus have been the two most in form strikers in the league this season, with Majoro slowly catching up to Erasmus in recent times. The once doubted attacking duo can provide the goods as lone strikers or even when played as partners. They will no doubt continue in this fine form into the following season as they clicked in such a short space of time.
We may have sold Daine Klate and Tlou Segolela this season but there's no doubt that the names who replaced these stars have done an excellent job at that. Sifiso Myeni, Mpho Makola and Thabo Rakhale have been the creative masterminds in the team and will no doubt be a force next season.
Overall Team Balance
I feel the squad is very much balanced and seems to be hitting the right notes at a crucial stage of the season, and whoever is to guide the Bucs ship next season won't need to make many reinforcements. We look rejuvenated and adding a host of players to the current squad could be deemed as unnecessary.
Do you think we can use our form in the latter part of the season to springboard into the next one?
