With the transfer window having slammed shut, the PSL's Big Three have brought in numerous signings, but which were Mamelodi Sundowns, Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates' best deals? Let's take a look!
The Soweto sides were exceptionally busy over the course of the transfer window, and they landed up bringing in more than a dozen players to their respective squads.
Pirates' most notable additions were the arrivals of Abbubaker Mobara and Riyaad Norodien from Ajax Cape Town, while Thabiso Kutumela's signing has also received praise from the fans.
Chiefs, on the other hand, ended up signing a host of free agents, including Sundowns' title-winning captain from last season, Ramahlwe Mphahlele.
Meanwhile, up north in Pretoria, the Brazilians made thoughtful additions to their side, which has only made them stronger than last term.
Today, we take a look at the biggest deals of the transfer window by Mzansi's three biggest clubs.
Mamelodi Sundowns: Anele Ngcongca & Sibusiso Vilakazi
"Anzo's" arrival at the team makes him the highest valued player in the league, and he makes an excellent replacement for Mphahlele. "Vila", meanwhile, was the most sought-after player in the league, so snapping him up was massive.
Kaizer Chiefs: Ramahlwe Mphahlele & Ryan Moon
After letting go of Siboniso Gaxa, Chiefs made a crucial move in pouncing for "Rama", while the addition of the young and energetic Ryan Moon is promising for the club's attackin.
Orlando Pirates: Abbubaker Mobara & Thabiso Kutumela
With Pirates' defensive line getting on in age, Mobara's move to Mayfair was a smart move by the club. He is young, versatile and talented, making him an ideal buy, while Kutumela's skills and finesse on the ball will add kasi flavour in the midfield.
