Orlando Pirates managed to snatch a point at home to a Mogakolodi Ngele-inspired Platinum Stars but who were the best and worst performers on the night?
The Buccaneers needed a late header from the former Dikwena star, Issa Sarr, to maintain our unbeaten run, after Ngele's hat-trick had cancelled out earlier strikes from Mpho Makola and Oupa Manyisa.
Although, it was concerning to see that Ngele was given so much time and space to pick his spot for two of his goals, while Brighton Mhlongo could have done a bit better for the first two.
The Three Who Impressed:
Mpho Makola - Proved to be one of our liveliest players on the park, scored the side's first goal and had another free-kick saved. Looks to flourishing under Eric Tinkler.
Ntsikelelo Nyauza - Given a rare start at the right full-back and hardly put a foot wrong in defence. Never gave his opponent time on the ball.
Patrick Phungwayo - His first game back since returning from injury and he managed to put in a few crosses from the left flank and looked solid defensively. The defence looks more stabilised with him at the back.
The Three Who Disappointed:
Thandani Ntshumayelo - A quiet performance from Ntshumayelo and much like Sarr, he gave Ngele far too much space in the midfield. Didn't look like he could keep up with the pace of the game.
Sifiso Myeni - Showed a few good touches on the ball but that was about it and hardly supplied crosses for Lennox Bacela.
Lehlohonolo Majoro - Brought on in the 71st minute but still hasn't performed since his return from international duty, which is probably why he started on the bench.
