Former Orlando Pirates striker Kermit Erasmus angrily took to Twitter recently to voice his opinion on certain comments that were made about him by certain media outlets. Did you see?
On Wednesday afternoon, the AFC Eskilstuna forward hit back at a South African media house that had written a story about him that he felt was misleading.
The publication had stated that Erasmus said he was "pushed out" from former club Stade Rennais, with the attacker then mentioning in a reply that he had said no such a thing.
"Funny how you trying to get views on your site by writing something I never said, that's why I don't speak to anybody in Media from South Africa. I know I'm regarded as a big player back home but that don't give u the right to write s**t I didn't say," he wrote in a reply.
He later asked the publication to remove the article as he felt they had twisted his words.
Funny how u trying to get Views on your site by writing something i never said, thats why i dont speak to Anybody in Media from South Africa. I know i’m regarded as a big player back him but that don’t give u the right to write shit i didn’t say. https://t.co/OnxfQb5MgZ
Yes but thats what most clubs do its not an uncommon thing, they saying i said the club pushed me out thats not what i said, they just make the headline like that to get views on their site https://t.co/c1EyZTfyNr
If i didn’t do an Interview with u as a media outlet don’t take my interviews and put it on your pages and twist my words. I take pride in what i say in my interviews coz its my words and when u twist them and write what i didn’t say we goin to have a problem.
The article is what i said but the headline @GoalcomSA has thats not what i said and its not even written in the article, just shows u how low they go to get views on their site https://t.co/Vv7xmBWckA
