Defending PSL champions, Mamelodi Sundowns got their title defence off to a blinder this weekend, as they ousted SuperSport United 2-0 at the Lucas Master Pieces Moripe stadium. It seemed to be same old for Pitso Mosimane’s team in all areas except for their jersey numbers.
Sundowns have been relatively quiet in the transfer market this season, in fact, the clubs looks as if it has done away with the ‘sign any player available’ policy for the last few seasons, as Mosimane opted for quality over quantity with his signings.
One thing that was interesting to note in their win on Saturday was the interchanging of squad numbers. We had earlier revealed that Sirino was given the number 10 jersey at the defending champions but he wasn’t the only one sporting a new number.
Check out the number changes at Sundowns.
