Hello fellow Buccaneers! With the league title no longer in sight and with only the CAF Confederations Cup to compete for, should Orlando Pirates make this competition their primary target?
This season hasn’t been the easiest of campaigns for the Buccaneers, but they managed to turn it around in fine fashion by going on a 12-match unbeaten run.
It seems strange that our beloved Bucs only have one competition left where they can compete for silverware, and perhaps this should be where Eric Tinkler and company should look to.
If the club continues on in their fine stead, a top three – or at worst – a top four spot will be available for Pirates, and they will certainly have enough time to progress further into the CAF Confederations Cup.
One just has to look at how far the team excelled under Roger De Sa in Africa, and with only the league and the CCC to compete in now, I am confident Pirates can make it all the way to the final.
Tinkler has enough depth to ensure a good finish on the league table, as well compete adequately all the way to the final of the Confed Cup.
Ghosts, our team cannot fail to bring in at least one piece of silverware this season, do you think the CCC should be prioritised?
