As the only midfield work-horses at the club, the Orlando Pirates pair of Thandani Ntshumayelo and Issa Sarr share a role which not many midfielders look forward to. At the moment, Sarr is preferred ahead of Ntshumayelo in the 'hardman' position, but there is no doubt that Bibo can do the job with ease.
With that said, the Fan Park crew will analyse the duo’s style of play and based upon it, you can decide for yourself who would you prefer as your midfield starter?
The powerful midfielder was gradually introduced into the Bucs first XI, following Bibo and Manyisa’s being preferred as the midfield pair at the start of the season. After a string of convincing performances, it’s safe to say that Sarr is a regular first team player at Bucs at the moment. Breaking up the play and spraying simple passes is what he excels at, and has stabilised the Bucs midfield considerably.
Bibo is more like a midfield terrier, who sniffs around for the ball with his main objective being to win it back for the team. Also, Ntshumayelo is a hard worker, and can run the full ninety minutes as a box-to-box midfielder.
Who would you prefer in the Bucs midfield, Bibo or Sarr?
