He’s on the verge of buying one of the most sought after properties in Spain, but not before he sold his R43 million mansion to one of his Portuguese teammates.
With Pepe having returned to his native Portugal to join FC Porto, following stints in Turkey and Spain, the tough-as-nails defender needed a place to stay.
Of course, his friend and captain, Cristiano Ronaldo stepped in to help as he sold his luxurious property to his former Real Madrid teammate. According to British publications, Ronaldo took a R21 million loss in the process, after he bought the house for R65 million.
The house is built on Portugal’s only national park and super-agent Mino Raiola, as well as Jose Mourinho, own property in the area.
The house sits on a secluded hillside and boasts a helipad amongst other things.
