There was an underlying feeling of pride for Orlando Pirates head coach Rhulani Mokwena when two of his former players linked up in France where they ply their trade in Ligue 1.
Mokwena, who served under Pitso Mosimane as Mamelodi Sundowns assistant coach and later took on the same role at the Buccaneers, could not hide his excitement on Instagram.
Bongani Zungu’s Amiens FC and Marshall Munetsi’s Stade Reims were set to do battle on Wednesday evening, but the match was postponed due to fog.
That did not prevent the former PSL duo from snapping a cool selfie, much to the delight of Mokwena, who shared the image on his Instagram account.
