Nike have gone all in on their star footballer, Cristiano Ronaldo. Not only did they release the Air Max 97 CR7 earlier this year, but now they have another sneaker in the works named after the Real Madrid player. Have you seen it?
The Air Force 1 CR7 is the latest sneaker the famous shoe brand is set to release honouring their famed Ballon d'Or-winning ambassador. The shoe boasts the classic design of the Air Force 1 sneaker that was launched in 1982, with a modern twist and a bit of Ronaldo flair.
Aptly named the "Nike Air Force 1 CR7 Golden Patchwork", the shoe's most defining feature is the texturized gold swoosh – perhaps inspired by the many Golden Balls and Ballons d'Or the Portuguese has claimed over the years
Gold does seems to be a running theme with the star as his Air Max 97 CR7's are of the same colour.
Set for official release on 7 December, if you are keen to get your hands on a pair of the Air Force 1 CR7 sneakers, be prepared to set aside about R1 540 as that is how much they will be retailing for in Britain. However, that is subject to any increase depending on South African retailers.
