Former Bafana Bafana midfielder Quinton Fortune participated in one of the world's most famous long-distance races, the London Marathon. Did you see him in the race?
The 39-year-old was running for the Manchester United Foundation, and he completed the full 42.195km, which stretched across the River Thames and over the iconic Tower Bridge.
Fortune, who has been training for the event for months, crossed the finish line after four hours, six minutes and 29 seconds, giving him an overall finish of 14 765th place.
After the race, the Cape Town-born Bafana Bafana legend took to Instagram to express his delight at completing the marathon, but admitted that his knees were aching.
Congratulations Quinton, what an achievement! Would you like to see a South African football team compete in South Africa's iconic Two Oceans Marathon?
