The player's agent, Glyn Binkin, broke the news of the deal, which is a one-year loan with an option to make the transfer permanent.
The attacking midfielder isn't the only player to move to Portugal this past month, with Bongani Zungu having transferred to Vitoria de Guimaraes after agreeing a move to the club in January already.
"Ben10", as he is affectionately known, has been very quiet on all social media platforms since his transfer to Europe, and it remains to be seen how he is adjusting to life in the Mediterranean.
Meanwhile, further up north in Europe, Mame Niang has officially made his return to former club Kongsvinger, in Norway, on a six-month deal.
