FC Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi was recently honoured with a word in the Spanish dictionary, but now his name has been used for a certain hardcore drug in South America – check out the story!
According to 101 Great Goals, drugs were seized in Peru this week, and a certain popular footballer's face on the packaging.
It has been reported that the drugs found were called "Leo Messi cocaine", a name given to the product by drug dealers in South America.
The report claimed that police seized 1 417 kilograms of cocaine, believed to be worth €85 million (R1.5 billion).
