The final day of June is the standard date for when contracts officially come to an end, and in South Africa, there are a number of players whose contracts expire today. Can you remember them all?
Kaizer Chiefs have received a lot of criticism for letting the likes of Morgan Gould, Reneilwe Letsholonyane and Reyaad Pieterse go for free, while Mamelodi Sundowns have seen a fair few leave too.
One of the biggest surprises in the league was undoubtedly Collins Mbesuma. Mpumalanga Black Aces let go of the Zambian striker for free, despite having seen him end the previous campaign as the league's highest goalscorer.
Meanwhile, at Orlando Pirates, two of their strikers are yet to be offered new deals, seeing them officially become a free agent as of Friday, 1 July.
