With clubs around the Premier Soccer League making full use of the January transfer window, the Absa Premiership can now resume with teams who are reinforced and ready to see out the rest of the season.
However, not all players who were expected to make moves in the transfer window did - and today the Fan Park crew will look at a few names that should have been signed due to their top form in the first-half of the season.
In terms of goals, the Polokwane City striker has been the most in-form player in the league as he leads the goal scoring chart with eight goals in 17 outings.
Graham, who was injured for most of last season, managed to regain full fitness and hit the ground running as the new captain of Ajax Cape Town this season. As one of the best young defensive midfielders in the league, Graham would no doubt have been a wonderful inclusion at any club in Mzansi.
As one of the very few crowd pleasers in the South African game, Masuku is a player adored by the Ghost, however, he sees the bench more often than not at the club. A move away from Mayfair would have done well in terms of game time and surely any club would welcome such an innovative player - even if it was just on loan.
Alexander made the surprise switch from Ajax Cape Town to Polokwane City last season and many questioned the move. However, it bared many fruits, as he has resurrected his career at Rise and Shine after ending off the year in some good form.
Who else do you think should have been snapped up in the January transfer window?
