We’ve seen footballers like Lionel Messi who have been around for years, but haven’t seemed to age at all in their physical appearance. The Argentinian forward is 28-years-old and has looked the same from when he first burst onto the scene years ago.
Today the Fan Park reverses fortunes and has a look five players who look older than their actual age.
He hasn’t been spoken about in years, so perhaps you might be shocked to find out that the Nigerian Striker is only 32-years-old. Yakubu left the Premier League in 2012, but you wouldn’t have expected to hear his name again if it weren’t for Reading’s eagerness to sign the striker, who looks much older than his actual age.

At first glance you’d guess that Minala is at least 35-years-old, but you’re mistaken. The Cameroonian, who plays for Lazio in Italy, is just an 18-year-old boy and has already had to hit out at claims that he has faked his birth certificate. For some it seems impossible that the pacey teenager has such strong facial features at his age.
The Brazilian born forward, who is a Spanish international, applies his trade with Chelsea in the English Premier League. When he made a name for himself at previous club Atletico Madrid, he looked like an experienced striker who’d been snatched from nowhere. Well, Costa is only 26-years-old - roughly four years younger than superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.
When he ran out at Stamford Bridge in 2004 to make his debut for Chelsea, fans would’ve though the Dutch Speedster was in his mid-twenties. However, he was just 20-years-old at the time. Robben is now only 31, but still looks many years older!
