Fan Park takes a look at five players that Chelsea should think of selling in the immediate future. Chelsea have a fantastic squad at the moment, but there are a few players that Blue Blood feels are just wasting their time at the club.
The Brazilian has become a backup player for Jose Mourinho and is only really used when players are rotated or injured. His time at the club is slowly coming to an end it seems, and the club should think about selling him while they can get good money for him.
Once the first name on the Chelsea team-sheet, but now sadly on the bench for most part. Cech hasn’t been benched due to form, but thanks to a new up and coming keeper Thibaut Courtois. Cech is definitely too good to just be a bench warner and I suspect he will leave Chelsea.
John Obi Mikel
The African midfielder has been at Chelsea for quite some time now and though it may seem like he is happy at the club, he can’t be too happy with the amount of game time. Mikel is now 27-years-old and surely needs to start playing regularly if he is to progress in his career.
The former Atletico Madrid left-back has unfortunately struggled in his first season at Chelsea. Jose Mourinho has started him now and then, but it doesn’t look like he is trusted enough to start the big games. If fortunes don’t improve soon, Chelsea may want to think about selling him, before they lose too much on him.
