Kaizer Chiefs have, in the past, been guilty of letting players go for free due to their failure to secure players' signature for an extension. They will want to avoid doing the same going into the new year, but who could they be negotiating with? Let's take a look!
In the latest issue of Soccer Laduma, issue no. 1003, the Siya Crew reported that two first team players are expected to soon be entering into talks with Bobby Motaung.
Lorenzo Gordinho is approaching the final six months of his contracts with the club, and if Chiefs wants to see him sport the gold and black kit next season and beyond, a new deal needs to be signed and sealed. Meanwhile, Hendrick Ekstein is currently in talks for an improved deal, as his contract expires in June 2018.
In addition, another major concern is Willard Katsande's status. The Zimbabwean has been one of Chiefs' best performers over the past couple of campaigns, but he has also reportedly sparked interest from China.
