Football and fashion are closely related, as footballers are always rocking the latest trends. One footballer recently launched his own label. Can you guess who?
The likes of Morgan Gould and Teko Modise have done it before with varied success. Gould’s ‘MG’ label has been quite a hit amongst fellow professionals while , Modise’s label ‘Fasion Don’ was largely unsuccessful and has since died down. That however did not deter Mogakolodi Ngele from trying his luck.
The Mamelodi Sundowns attacker recently created his own streetwear line called ‘MN’ which represents the Botswana international’s initials. Ngele also models his own clothing. The brand offers a variety of streetwear, from fleece tracksuits to casual shorts and shirts.
Ngele will have a lot of time on his hands having hardly ever featured for Mamelodi Sundowns and is clearly not in coach Pitso Mosimane’s plans.
Over the past few seasons the man nicknamed ‘Tso-Tso’ has gone out on loan to a host of teams including now-defunct Platinum Stars and Bidvest Wits. He will be running down his contract with the Brazilians and hopefully he can get his flailing career back on track
What are your thoughts on Ngele’s label?
