Mogakolodi Ngele loves to score against Orlando Pirates, and on Wednesday evening he continued on with his fine record by scoring three emphatic goals at Orlando Stadium. There is something special about these goals!
The forward managed to rip apart the Buccaneers’ backline on multiple occasions, as his hat-trick of strikes saw him names the Man of the Match.
But what is outstanding about these strikes is that if one had to combine the amount of time spent on the ball by Ngele against Pirates, it amounts to a stunning total of just 31 seconds.
When you look at that closely, Ngele scored three goals in the space of 31 seconds… Meaning he averaged a goal every ten seconds when on the ball against Pirates!
How is that for a mind-blowing statistic? Ngele only played 37 balls, which, if you reflect on the game, he got rid of very quickly and spent minimal time with the ball at his feet.
This is why Ngele’s possession time is ridiculously low, yet impressive at the same time…
Did you think a statistic of this nature was possible?
