Footballers don’t just play football, they also do good in the world and Mamelodi Sundowns’ Mame Niang is doing exactly that by helping give donations to the refugee camp for xenophobia victims.
The lanky Senegalese striker is also a foreigner living in South Africa and has undoubtedly felt the pain that the families of xenophobia victims have felt this past week and a bit.
As a result, he made the trip to Germiston’s refugee camp on Monday afternoon to help donate blankets, food, medicine and toiletries to the families who have been displaced from their homes.
This is a tremendous act of kindness from Niang, who is also married to girl from Sweden. They have a young boy who has been raised in South Africa his whole life.
What do you make of this great move from Niang? #SayNoToXenophobia.
