David Beckham, one of the most recognisable footballing personalities on the planet, was recently honoured with a statue by MLS giants LA Galaxy. Did you see it?
On Sunday, Beckham, who plied his trade with the Los Angeles club for five years between 2007 and 2012, was honoured with a statue erected at a legends plaza the club has established to recognise former players of theirs.

According to The Sun, the former Manchester United and Real Madrid star was attending Galaxy's opening league match of the season as they took on Bastian Schweinsteiger's Chicago Fire.
With Galaxy being eventual 2-1 winners on the night, 37-year-old Zlatan Ibrahimovic proved to be the difference after scoring the winner with a headed effort in the 80th minute of the goal.
