Almost eight months have passed since Amakhosi fans last saw their beloved Itumeleng Khune don the Kaizer Chiefs jersey. Despite this, the 32-year-old recently revealed what he loves most about being a goalkeeper.
It’s safe to say that Itumeleng Khune’s absence has been felt by both club and country in the last few months. The Ventersdorp-born star suffered a shoulder injury that has kept him out since December 2018.
Chiefs coach Ernst Middendorp revealed that he expects Khune to be fully fit in August, much to the delight of Chiefs fans.
It’s a job he has carried out with aplomb for the last 15 years and now Khune has revealed what he loves about being a goalkeeper.
‘Itu’ shared a humorous video on his Instagram account and captioned it “Keeper Beast...Exactly what I enjoy the most as a Keeper ,we have the privilege of using any part of our body to prevent the ball from going past us #lol”
