Khune Reminds Sundowns Fans Of His Achievements

Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune recently took to his social media pages and posted an image of himself and his individual accolades from last season. The post however, stemmed from a heated Twitter debate relating to Denis Onyango being named in the CAF team of the year.

Did you see what Khune was saying?

With Mamelodi Sundowns goalkeeper Denis Onyango being named in the 2018 CAF Team of the Year, it was later revealed who the Bafana Bafana players voted in their starting XI, choosing Khune ahead of Onyango.

Well-known Mamelodi Sundowns Fan Vlog did not agree with the selection and tagged Khune in a quoted tweet, of which he replied.

With fans having a go at Khune after his response, he later mentioned that Onyango should be celebrated without being compared to other goalkeepers.

Two hours later, Khune posted an image of himself with his Man of the Match awards from the 2017/18 campaign and also, his Goalkeeper of the Season accolade.
