Oliech turned professional in 2003 and spent a large portion of his career playing in France with Nantes, Ajaccio and Auxerre, for whom he also turned out in the UEFA Champions League, competing against the likes of Barcelona and AC Milan.
He then took his career to Dubai to play in the UAE Division 1 League, before hanging up his boots in 2015.
Since then, he has ventured into coaching, and together with Betway, he will take part in a one-week training course at the famed South Africa World Coaches Konink Nederlandse Voetbal Bond (KNVB) workshop.
The South Africa World Coaches KNVB workshop has ambassadors such as Nwankwo Kanu, Ruud Gullit, Philip Cocu, Pierre van Hooidonk and Kalusha Bwalya, and Oliech will join the list once the course is completed.
"Our aim is to equip Dennis with the essential skills a football coach needs. He will then be able to pass on that knowledge as well as skills to youth in Kenya," Betway's Kenya Country Manager Wanja Gikonyo said of the former Harambee Stars captain.
"This is the first among many training opportunities that Betway has lined up for Dennis. As our ambassador, he will be heavily involved in football talent development across the country. This is one of the ways we are contributing towards spurring the development of football in Kenya."
