While Bafana Bafana may have dropped points against Cameroon yesterday afternoon, one man’s name that is one everyone’s lips is that of Hlompho Kekana – and his goal is taking Instagram by storm.
The Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder reinstalled South Africa’s lead against the Indomitable Lions in Limbe when he gathered the ball and fired an incredible effort from inside his own half.
It almost looked as if time slowed down from then on, as the ball delicately sailed over the goalkeeper’s head and went in under the goal frame.
Kekana, who has developed a knack for scoring long-range efforts, has seen his strike featured all over Instagram.
